Or simply wear a black silk blouse; the tone-on-tone look will be less dramatic and just as chic.
It would be best to break the formal aspect of these elegant trousers for the day, or you may feel out of place and overdressed. The easiest way is to combine it with a (very) nice white t-shirt and white converse. A lovely flowing blouse combined with flat shoes such as tone-on-tone loafers will be just as effective for a less casual look.
